PALESTINA E TRIBUNAL PENAL INTERNACIONAL
RETORNO A UMA SAGA JUDICIAL
Keywords:
Palestine, Israel, International Criminal Court, international criminal justiceAbstract
At a time when the International Criminal Court is sometimes harshly criticized about its impartiality, mainly because of its focus on the African continent, Palestine’s action at this Court appears as a real challenge to consolidate the credibility of international criminal justice and to move towards the universalization of the Rome Statute, as well as a decisive framework for the evolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, for the recognition of Palestine as a state on the international scene and, more generally, for peace in the Middle East.
