O autor nos fala do movimento direito e literatura, centrando-se em sua relação com os direitos humanos. São apresentadas inumeráveis obras, ficcionais ou não, escritas por autores de diferentes nacionalidades, especialmente brasileiros e mexicanos, cuja leitura nos convida a pensar sobre temas sempre atuais em sede de direitos humanos, especialmente suas constantes violações num mundo onde predominam profundas injustiças e desigualdades, e se impõe um esforço conjunto para superá-las.
