Abstract

O texto aborda a distância entre o dever do Estado brasileiro de proteger as pessoas negras e a responsabilização das empresas em relação às condutas racistas praticadas. Sob esse enfoque, são analisadas duas recentes condenações do Brasil pela Corte Interamericana de Direitos Humanos (CIDH), nos casos: Fazenda Brasil Verde (2016); e Empregados da Fábrica de Fogos de Santo Antônio de Jesus e seus Familiares (2020).
