O Crime de Genocídio nos Discursos Contemporâneos: Defesa dos Direitos Humanos, Desconhecimento ou Leviandade?

O presente estudo versa sobre o crime de genocídio nos discursos contemporâneos. Além das considerações introdutórias voltadas a delimitar a criação do conceito histórico do genocídio, o trabalho traz ao debate os autênticos limites constitucionais e legais do genocídio no Brasil, as deturpadas leituras sociais que têm sido construídas e entusiasticamente propagadas na mídia nacional sobre o que seja uma conduta genocida, a já defasada iniciativa legiferante proposta em busca de atualizar o conceito legal de genocídio, a particular percepção de um membro da Suprema Corte brasileira sobre a caracterização do genocídio no Brasil atual, e ao final, algumas breves reflexões sobre a caracterização de ignorância ou de leviandade nos discursos e leituras ideológicas sobre os limites objetivos do crime de genocídio.
