Abstract

Se presenta el desarrollo que tiene el pensamiento de Zygmunt Bauman con relación al tema de las migraciones en la modernidad líquida, la propiedad que esta tiene de producir “vidas desperdiciadas”, consideradas como un peligro frente al cual los políticos prometen proteger, estableciendo una insalvable diferencia entre “los otros” y “los nuestros”, que rompe toda posibilidad de diálogo y cordialidad en la convivencia humana.

Doctor en Filosofia y en Derecho; Profesor del Departamento de Estudios Generales del ITAM, Ciudad de México; ex Funcionario del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR) durante 23 años.
