El ensayo analiza los criterios empleados por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en la determinación de hechos probados, admisión y valoración de la prueba en casos de violencia de género. Tras resumir algunos conceptos de la teoría de la evidencia, el ensayo examina los parámetros de admisión y ponderación de la prueba, normalmente utilizados por la Corte Interamericana. Finalmente, se analiza el estándar probatorio empleado por la Corte en casos en los que las partes peticionarias denuncian hechos constitutivos de violencia de género.
