La violência se presenta como u n fenômeno constante e inquietante. Por Io que sabemos, existe desde los tiempos más remotos de Ia humanidad y se presenta como fácil tentación en Ia vida dei hombre en sociedad. Su realidad ha dado lugar a diversos estúdios, que Ia han considerado tanto desde ei punto de vista de Ia etnologia (comparación dei fenômeno de Ia violência en ei mundo humano y en Ias conductas animales), de Ia filosofia política, dei derecho, de Ia filosofia o de la misma religion.
Las reflexiones seguientes tratarán de establecer algunas consideraciones desde ei punto de vista de Ia filosofia política, de Ia antropologia, de Ia moral, dei derecho y desde ei punto de Ia doctrina social cristiana.
