PALESTINA E TRIBUNAL PENAL INTERNACIONAL RETORNO A UMA SAGA JUDICIAL

Resumo




Numa altura em que o Tribunal Penal Internacional sofre críticas por vezes duras quanto à sua imparcialidade, principalmente por causa do seu foco no continente Africano, a ação da Palestina junto deste Tribunal aparece como um verdadeiro desafio para consolidar a credibilidade da justiça penal internacional e avançar rumo à universalização do Estatuto de Roma, bem como um marco decisivo para a evolução do conflito israelo-palestino, para o reconhecimento da Palestina como Estado na cena internacional e, mais geralmente, para a paz no Médio Oriente.
